  • Update the package to the latest version
  • The Static part must be translated by you beforehand

Document template translation

What is a Translation model?

A Translation document template is used to translate a main document.
This type of document is used when there is a need to have a document template in several languages.

Create the translation-type document template
  • First, you need to create and configure the main document template
  • In the Doc tab of the main document template, click “New Translation” in the Translation component
  • Give the model a name
  • Choose the desired language
  • Enter a prefix and a suffix in the name of the file that will be generated
  • Save to be redirected to the created document template
  • Then load the translated document, and check that all the dots are green.
  • You will then be able to see all the models (translations of the main model).
Generating the translation model
  • The document template that will appear in the generation component will be the one that corresponds to the user's language.
For example: if the user uses the English language on Salesforce, it will be the English Translation template that will be generated.
  • If you want to let users choose the generation language, check the “Allow user to choose language” box in the “Language & Translation” section of the main template configuration
  • There will thus be the possibility to choose the language in the generation component

Language management only drives the standard generation component.
If the generation is done via a flow, it is necessary to manage the retrieval of the desired templates in the flow
