Advanced training

The Gonexa Sign solution allows you to send an electronic signature without leaving the Salesforce environment.

Dynamic number of signatories

Dynamically add the right number of signers to your document

In some cases, such as the case of signing documents, the number of signatories of a document is not known in advance.

Prerequisites

BEFORE STARTING

💡 Be sure to contact support if the licenses are not active for your environment

  • Have a Gonexa Sign document that works with 1 signatory

Setup in Salesforce

STEP #1
  • In your document template, make sure you have at least 1 recipient configured, if not, click on new in the “Recipient” section
  • In child objects, make sure you have created a child object based on the standard Salesforce object “Contact” that will allow you to create the list of recipients dynamically

Configuration in your document template

STEP #2
  • Create a table classically with the columns of your choice and the desired 1st header row
  • Keep 1 column of the table for the signature location
  • Add the following signature tag to this column {{signatures|starting index|width|height}}
  • The starting index corresponds to the number of the first signatory in the table.

Example:
If you just want to have signers in the table, you can simply enter “1" as the starting index. If you have the signature of a trainer for example and then in the table the list of trainees, the starting number will be “2" since the number 1 is for the trainer who is not the table.

Sending by signature

STEP #3

💡 Sending a signature can only be done via a Salesforce flow since the number of signatories is not known in advance and there may be a large number of signatories
