# Add content in Word (fonts, images)
Configure your headings, subheadings and body text by creating your own default fonts from the Styles pane on the Home tab.

## Choice of fonts
Gonexa supports the standard Word fonts listed below. Names are written as they appear in Word's font list.

### Use a non-standard font
If your font is not one of the standard Word fonts, embed your new custom fonts when you save your Word document so that they can be used at generation time.
Otherwise, it will be replaced by a standard font.

* In the (Microsoft) dialog box, under "Output and Sharing", select "Save"
* Under "Font Embedding", select "Embed fonts in the file"
Check "Embed only the characters used in the presentation" to reduce the file size when saving

* In the left column, select the "Save" tab

## Manage headers and footers
* Create headers and footers by double-clicking at the top and bottom of the document
* Check the "Different First Page" box in the header or footer menu if you want the first page to have different elements
* Add page numbers from the Insert tab by clicking Page Number. Go to "Format Page Numbers" to set the desired format (1, 2, 3...) and the starting number
## Add a table of contents
* From the "References" tab, click "Table of Contents" and choose the type of table to insert, or create a custom one
* If new headings have been added, update the table of contents by right-clicking > Update Field.

## Insert and optimize images
* Add images to your document by clicking Insert > Pictures, or by dragging and dropping
* Optimize the size of your images by compressing them to get the most out of your document
